What is Up ENDing Parkinson’s?
Up ENDing Parkinson’s is an adaptive climbing program that focuses on balance, strength, coordination, and connection—all of which play a meaningful role in improving quality of life and potentially slowing disease progression.
We offer therapeutic, evidence-informed climbing classes that are adaptable, inclusive, and focused on the motor and non-motor symptoms of Parkinson’s. Participants consistently report improvements in balance, strength, emotional well-being, and connection—benefits supported by a study Up ENDing Parkinson’s conducted in partnership with Marymount University, published in the Archives of Physiotherapy.
Our classes are highly adaptable, inclusive, and led by trained volunteers who are passionate about working with people living with Parkinson’s.
When: Classes currently run on Wednesdays, 2:00 – 3:30pm.
Cost: $12 with your own gear (harness & climbing shoes), $17 with gear (harness & climbing shoes)
