Belay Rules & Policies

Our facility requires the use of our provided ATC belay device. We do not use GriGris and outside devices are not allowed.

Facility provided ATC XP is allowed, not the Gri Gri belay device.
  • For top ropes, you will be checked on belay technique by staff member the first three times you top rope in our facility.
  • Lead climbing requires two tests before you can get started. One test for climbing, and one for belaying.
